Happy Mothers Day!,

Hello Naturalista's

We have approached another great day to celebrate all the women that have been and played the roll of a mother. We would not be able to be here with out a mother. Mothers teach us how to be true servants. What I mean by that is mothers give all day long they give out of lack and their abundance. They put the needs of their family before anyone else to make sure home is good. They work full time jobs, married, go back to college to better themselves, and take care of themselves. Yes, if you are a mother you are superwoman at her finest. Or, if I'm describing your mother, grandmother, or aunt you need to give them a round of applause for their servitude. They are the true essence of a servant of God.  

Now, I understand why God said it is not good for man to be alone. A women is just not a help meat to her spouse but to the world. Ladies I'm here to tell you if never knew your purpose it is to be a help meat according to the word of God, and they doesn't mean you have to be married its more than that we have so much potential in us to build a nation. Just think about it. So, that means that we all are mothers. 

Ladies, we should salute each other on this day and every women we know because we all have contributed to our families. So, let our hair down and party! Lol Enjoy and BeBlessed!

World Natural Hair Show 2013

Hey Naturalista's,

I hope you all got your ticket for the WNHS in Atlanta this weekend. Trust me it will be a full house with vendors, your favorite product brand, food and more. Also, it is kid friendly so you can make it a family event. If you come by make sure to visit me at the Curls Unleashed booth I will be providing product demo and styling. Also, check out Qredew' s booth as well it's a hand held hair steamer that you all will need to keep that hair moisturizer without it drip drying.

It's Spring Again!!

Greetings Naturalista's,

We all look forward to Spring because it is beginning of something new and refreshing. The cold dreary winter is over and we can put away the coats and boots and trade them in for lighter fabrics and brighter colors. I LOVE the Spring! It's the one season were you can wear just about anything and be fashionable correct. LOL. However, there are color trends that have been forecast that we will see walking our neighborhood streets. Yes, ladies that means we can go shopping, if you don't already have any of these amazing colors for your beautiful spring season.
Here are a few of the color choices Poppy red, Nectarine, African Violet, Lemon Zest, Dusk Blue, and Monaco Blue. I look forward to implementing all these colors in my wardrobe, if some of them are not there already. LOL.
Again, spring is the breaking of a new beginning. Flowers, trees, fresh grass are blooming in our neighborhoods and parks. I look forward to walking my new puppy in Piedmont Park. Getting your dose of sunlight does a body good. Until next time love bugs..BeBlessed!

BeFab Awards

Greetings Naturalistas,

I pray that this meets you in a great moment in time! These past few weekends have been full of new adventures. Starting at the Bronner Brothers Hair Show, then FroFashion Week Spring Edition, and then off to the 2nd Annual Natural Hair & Health Expo in Birmingham, Al. I'm pooped! Lol. Yet, I'm still moving in shaking in the salon and preparing for future events and building great relationships.
I hope for yourself that you are still moving regardless of mistakes or if you feel unqualified to keep stepping out. I advise you to keep moving and your answers will come as you go! That takes me into the soul purpose of this post.
A dear client of mine Tiffini Gatlin has done just that with her magazine " Taste Makers Magazine". Now her team and herself are getting ready to give a great award ceremony for some of the top bloggers in the beauty and fashion arena.
The BeFab Awards will be held March 24,2013 at Ambient Studio in Atlanta. This will be a day to thank all the bloggers and people that help make the beauty industry stand. Tiffini went through many obstacles to get this far and we talked briefly,yesterday and she is still walking on water and keeping it in prospective. I celebrate her drive as a mother, wife, and business women. I salute you, you, and you sisters who keep moving into their passion of purpose!

Natural Hair and Health Expo

This will be a full day of workshops, seminars, and meeting professionals that can help you on your quest for health and beauty. We all know that you can't just take care of your hair and not the body. So, if you know someone in the surrounding areas and they need some assistance get their ticket.

FroFashion Week Spring 2013

Hello Natural Beauties,

It's that time again for all the naturalista's and fashionista's to celebrate all week long for FFW. This spring we are kicking it of fat the Marriott at Perimeter and let me say ladies and gents we are in for a treat. There will be vendors, various hair and skin products, and workshops to educate you all on hair and business.

Key Glover will be teaching two classes and would love for you to come out and enjoy yourself this weekend in our Lavish Suite with Curls Unleashed. We always do it big and this time we added a little twist. So, come out bring your girlfriends and them. Let's have a great time. Also, don"t forget to wear those Acid denim pants or jacket!!!

Black History Month!

Hello Naturalistia,

This year is off to an amazing start and I pray that you all continue to make great strides in that which God is called you to do! This month is one the most important in American History because it cultivates the struggle, life, and perseverance of Blacks. The blacks who planted our foundation, the ones who pave our present, and us who radically revolutionize our future. We are Black History Month!

We are to pay attention to what others did for us to have the freedom of speech and the right to be counted like other man of a different races. We need to be thankful that segregation is no longer a part of our day to day lives, which created hardships unimaginable to comprehend. We are liberated by their sacrifices. We are able to eat in upscale restaurants with the same forks and spoons. We are able to live in the same neighborhoods as every other race. So, why do we continually rehearse how negatively they treat us?

I just want to renew your mind today to help us realize just how much we take for granted and sometimes mislead that they are the problem. No,no,no sisters and brothers some of us have yet to realize that THEY are WE!

So, lets begin to pull together even the more and renew and transform our minds to a mind of LOVE, so we can succeed. BeBlessed until next time!
